Welcome to the Mont Lawn Retreat Center, a 200-acre wooded retreat adjacent to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Located on the scenic Paradise Lake, Mont Lawn offers multiple lodges, a chapel, meeting spaces, an indoor gym, and a number of outdoor activities and hiking trails for groups to use. Our comfortable facilities in a rustic setting are a wonderful way to detach from the demands of life.

Owned and operated by The Bowery Mission, Mont Lawn Retreat Center raises critical funds to support New Yorkers in need. All proceeds go toward rebuilding hope and transforming lives of New Yorkers experiencing homelessness, hunger and poverty.

The Bowery Mission has served homeless and hungry New Yorkers since the 1870s. Thanks to you, The Bowery Mission has been keeping its doors open to safely serve New Yorkers in crisis during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last year, The Bowery Mission provided 320,000 meals, 66,000 nights of shelter, 32,000 articles of clothing, 45,000 emergency showers and 1,500 onsite medical appointments. Each meal and every service is an invitation to residential and community programs that help clients make progress. Last year, the Mission served 214 adults in its residential programs and 124 adults received vocational support.

The Bowery Mission's Children's Programs empower children to thrive & succeed through opportunities for leadership, skill building and personal growth. Year-round opportunities through Mont Lawn City Camp traditionally culminate in an unforgettable weeklong experience at our 200-acre summer camp in the Poconos Region of Pennsylvania.
